News stations are reporting that the Caernarvan Freshwater Diversion Project canal levees are overtopping.
Update: 5:34pm Central. According to Major John Marie of Plaquemines Parish, this flooding crisis can be overcome before property damage becomes severe. However, officials are telling people to evacuate.
